Rare complilation album only available at the Berlin Bruit Festival on 30th August 2008 organised by Ironflame, which features the track 'What If (Blind Ignorant)' by Sutcliffe Jugend alongside cuts from Last Dominion Lost, Z'EV, nEGAPADRES.3.3., Column One, Ditterich v. Euler-Donnersperg. Each festival visitor received a hand-numbered copy of this LP with the # and their name written on the label and back cover but these are the additional personal copies given to Sutcliffe Jugend and have 'Artist' stamped and written in these places instead. Bodychoke - 'Cold River Songs' CD album. 2009 - Relapse Records - RR 6113-2. Formed by Kevin Tomkins and Paul Taylor after the original Sutcliffe Jugend project, Bodychoke was a noisy rock anomaly as powerful and provocative as its name would suggest. The band's long out-of-print final album, the bleak and depressing creative apex known as Cold River Songs, has been given the deluxe reissue treatment; the album is remastered to include 3 bonus tracks and repackaged to include first-ever printing of the bands incendiary lyrics. Criminally underrated and underexposed, Cold River Songs is intense and ground-breaking. Kevin Tomkins - 'Square Pegs For Round Holes' 2xCD album. 2008 - Unlabel Records - un059. 'Square Pegs For Round Holes' collects together unreleased tracks recorded over the last ten years. All are experiments or sketches exploring Kevin Tomkins' passion for electronic music and the avant-garde. The first 30 track disc consists mainly of short electronic pieces, the exceptions being the later tracks for clarinet, percussion, keyboard and piano. Disc two consists of five much longer noisier pieces. The album was completed on 5th April 2008 and released less than two weeks later in a limited edition of just 100 copies; one for the collectors.
