Matra
A Kent based electronica outfit, who utilise dub-orientated beats and analog keyboards interspersed with other clicks and
glitches to form some beautful multi-textured electronic listening music.
In February 2004 they released the debut 10" vinyl EP entitled 'Mechanics' in a strictly limited edition of 100 copies.
This was followed in July 2005 by a 6 track CD, simply titled 'EP' and the debut 15 track CD album 'Drome' was released in
June 2006.
Tracks were also included on the 'un23', 'minus 27 and counting...', 'un40rmulated', 'Hundrum' and 'ünlaut' compilation CDs.
Due to studying commitments, they only get to play and record together every now and again with rare live performances
taking place just once or twice a year!
