Nub
Nub existed as a living, breathing rock band from 1991 to 1998, and still do kind of exist in a conceptual kinda way. They were usually made up of Tim Ineson
(vocals, guitar), Adam Ineson (guitar), Nat Saunders (bass) and Jeff Gerhardt (drums), although Simon Hartop and Graham Blackwell had a look-in too.
They released singles such as Fall Guy (Rough Trade Singles Club), Blacktop (Flowershop Records), Blue Climber (Jackass), and Hopper (Planet Records) and recorded
a Peel Session in 1996.
Nub released the retrospective album that’s been a long time coming in August 2007. With tracks recorded by Julian Standen (Lemonheads, Billy Mahonie etc.) and
Robin Proper-Sheppard (The God Machine, Sophia etc.) this collection finally delivers the album that never was.
