The second full-length release on Unlabel from this fine local six piece anti-folk outfit is a 7 track collection of recently recorded work (May 2008) and is released in association with Wire Boat Recordings.
Tom Williams and The Boat are best described as Bob Dylan meets Lightspeed Champion/Eugene McGuiness with the lyrical style
of Regina Spektor or Win Butler (Arcade Fire).
Recorded onto 2" tape at The Granary Studios in Lamberhurst, The Got Fuel EP is the most accomplished set of recordings
that Tom has released to date and shows a different side to their sound compared to previous releases.
Their sound is epic and adventurous whilst retaining an strong personality and humanity, rooted in Tom’s song writing.
Avaialble as a limited first edition of 100 copies in hand finished photo artwork with picture inserts and a complete lyric sheet. It's sure to go fast.
